Tucked close to forested foothills and
the wide, wild coastline of the Garden Route, our homestead is a
quiet patch of earth where life moves & grows us, just the way
nature intended, a slow and beautiful unfolding & manifesting of
our dreams. We choose to live close to the land, watching the skies,
learning the quiet language of the seasons. There’s no rush here,
just good, honest days filled with soil under our nails, sun on our
backs, and peace in our hearts.

At The Family Tree, the days start with
the rooster’s crow and wind down with the setting sun. We move with
the seasons & let nature set the pace. We rise with the birds,
plant with the moon, and take time to notice the quiet beauty that
surrounds us.

This is a life of simplicity and connection. Of early mornings, homemade meals, hand-dug gardens, and deep conversations by the fire. A life rooted in presence — with each other, and with the land we call home.
